Grill Marks is looking for new burger ideas, and in an effort to get some "out side of the box" burgers, and to support the Cancer Survivor's Park Alliance, we're hosting the Grill Marks® Jr. Chef Burger Challenge.


We're asking that students (Culinary or Otherwise) enter a recipe for what they'd like to see on a burger. 


How to enter

​All students, K—12th grade, participate!

  • Simply fill out the online entry form and include a social media–friendly photo of your custom burger


How it works


  • We’ll post your burger photo on our Grill Marks Haywood Facebook and Instagram pages for likes & shares (these count as votes!!)

  • encourage your own followers to like and share your recipe photo to increase your chances of winning

    • make sure you and your followers like & share the original post to count as a vote​


Our Director of Culinary & past winner of Food Network's, "Cutthroat Kitchen," Chef Adam Hayes, and his team will evaluate the burgers and chose the three winners based on:

  • creativity

  • uniqueness

  • & number of likes and shares


Main event & prizes

The top three burger chefs will be honored at Grill Marks Haywood Mall at a reception. The reception will be open to the public, samples of the winning burgers will be featured and the jr. chefs will work in the kitchen with the culinary team.


Additionally, the top three chefs will each win a

$200 Grill Marks Gift Card, a Grill Marks chef coat, t-shirts and other great Grill Marks swag.

The top three winning burgers will be featured on the Grill Marks Haywood "Jr. Chef Burger Challenge" menu at the Haywood Mall location through the summer. 15% of all Jr. Chef Burger Challenge sales will be donated to the Cancer Survivor's Park Alliance.
